Flat Roofing Cambridge

Cambridge Roofers were contacted on a recommendation from a previous customer and asked to survey and provide a quotation for a single ply flat roof.  The existing mineral felt had failed and a customer was well informed about what flat roofing solution they wanted.

The roof did not form more than 50% of the overall coverings so Part L1 b of building regulations were not triggered.  The client opted for a ‘cold roof’ construction and an installation of glass wool insulation between the joists.

DESCRIPTION OF WORKS:

To supply and install new timber carcassing.

To supply and install new timber decking.

• Decking thickness: 18mm Oriented Strand Board timber

To supply and install new 1.52mm EPDM single ply membrane:-

• Manufacturer: Firestone.
• Material: EPDM.
• Thickness: 1.14mm.
• Colour: Charcoal.
• Perimeter: uPVC
• Membrane Warranty: 25 years.
